Like its big brother the HDX, this little arrow rest has the two greatest assets of a 3D hunting or shooting arrow rest:

Keeps the arrow in place on the rest whatever the position of your bow: very important when approaching the woods, so you're always ready to cock if an opportunity arises.
The arrow rest is instantly erased when the bow is released, thus avoiding any parasitic contact between the arrow rest and the arrow's tail and ensuring perfect flight.

VDT: Velocity Drop-Away Technology: the arrow rest fork retracts only when the arrow is released, and remains in the up position when the string is gently pulled back without releasing the arrow.
