In thirty years of sport hunting in all types of terrain, including the mountains, I've tested and worn out quite a few pairs of hunting boots...

From solid but noisy Meindl (they squeaked) to super-disappointing Crispi Track GTX (two pairs destroyed in one year!!!) to comfortable but a bit soft Ariats, I've never fallen in love as I did with the KOSTYLE KS-AVANT!!!!

They're light, super-comfortable (they feel like slippers), well-designed with a one-piece, seamless upper (better waterproofing), a wide instep for easy slip-on and easy lacing with solid hooks. The Vibram sole is excellent, with just the right amount of non-slip grip, soft enough to pounce and stiff enough to grip slippery slopes and hillsides.

Obviously, I don't have any long-term experience with them yet, as they're a brand-new model, but I'm putting them to the test and they're holding up very well, which bodes well for the future!
