Very useful for archers who often hunt from a high vantage point such as a treestand, or for hunting in the mountains where shots are taken at significant angles upwards or downwards.

In addition to its compact, pocket-friendly design, this small, waterproof rangefinder offers a 6X zoom, accurate rangefinding to 1 metre and automatic shut-off to save battery power.

ANGULAR RANGE COMPENSATION: In ballistics, the sighting distance and the actual distance between a marksman and his target vary according to the angle of fire. The distance from the ground (and therefore subject to the Earth's gravitational pull) covered by a projectile fired upwards or downwards will be shorter than the horizontal distance. The projectile will be subject to the Earth's attraction over a shorter distance and its point of impact will therefore be higher.
